The Almond-Shuey Neighborhood is the oldest downtown residential area in Walnut Creek. Most of our houses were built in the pre-World War II era, the 1920's to 1940's. Our neighborhood is constantly changing, growing with the city of Walnut Creek. Our houses are big and small, we have apartments, duplexes and Heritage Pointe for Active Seniors. Many of our properties have been upgraded or rebuilt, but the charm of our tree-lined streets, our architectural diversity and the small neighborhood feel has been preserved. And all within steps of downtown.
